Contrary to uninformed belief, pigs are some of the cleanest animals around.

When we were kids, my sister Mila and I had a pot-belly pig as pet. His name was Coqui and he used to watch television with us; Pippi Longstocking was his favorite show. Pigs suffer more than any other animal in the farming industry. I doubt this picture will move you to stop eating bacon, though I wish it would, but at the very least become more informed and buy food products that come from facilities that meet precise, objective standards for farm animal treatment.
