Too many murciélagos inside

Giggling and playing inside the ancient caves where intricate rock formations reveal thousands of years of earthly life and traces of the Amerindians. I was also staying close to the light and away from the hundreds of bats (murciélagos) that inhabit the deepest parts of the caves. Although the bats are harmless, they flap nervously around when we humans, who cannot see anything inside these dark caves, have to use flashlights, not only to see where we are stepping, but also to look at the amazing ancient Indian drawings on the walls. The Fontein Caves contain drawings of the Arawak Indians in the ceilings. Fascinating stuff but the little bats are not as impressed by our disturbance!
